About Me

Paulo R. Scalassara received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Electrical Engineering from the Universidade Estadual de Londrina, Brazil, in 2003 and 2005, respectively. He has obtained his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the Escola de Engenharia de São Carlos of the Universidade de São Paulo in 2009. Also has been a research assistant in the University of Iowa in 2008. Since 2010 is an adjunct professor of the Universidade Tecnológica Federal do Paraná in Cornélio Procópio. From 2014 to 2015, he was the coordinator of the Master’s Program in Electrical Engineering. He is currently a visiting scholar at CNEL.

Information Theoretical Learning, Biological Signal Processing, Pattern Recognition, Machine Learning, and Embedded Systems
