The requirements for this course are very simple. All students must email a two-paragraph description of the seminar that was attended to the TA (Savyasachi Singh) each week (savya2u@ufl.edu). The subject line of the email should contain ECE SEMINAR, your last name, and date of the seminar (for example: ECE SEMINAR, SMITH, 01/13/06). Email must be sent within 1 week of the seminar date or else the seminar will not be counted. The title in the main body of the email should include the speaker, talk title, date, time and location. The first paragraph should describe the technical topic of the talk. The second paragraph should discuss the quality and effectiveness of the presentation.

A draft schedule is shown above. For dates listed as FREE SEMINAR, the students must select from among the wealth of technical seminars ongoing on campus on that week (or on other weeks). The only restriction is that this should not be a seminar that you are otherwise required to attend or a seminar by someone else in exactly the same research topic that you work in. Note that all students must attend the scheduled in-class seminars—these cannot be substituted!
