Course Objectives: This course is designed to give seniors and first year graduate students in electrical engineering an ability to understand both the theory and design of digital filters and applications of digital signal processing. Homework assignments will include computer assignments using MATLAB. Grades are based on the results of two in-class exams, a final exam (all open book), as well as on performance on homework assignments.
